Rommy Santiago | Interior Designer and Co-Founder

As a Colombian-born designer, my work is driven by a deep belief that every space should tell a story and possess heart, character, and a little magic. I studied Interior Design at the School of Interior Design (Esdiart) in Bogotá, Colombia, where I discovered my profound love for textures, color, and meaningful details.

My signature style is rooted in upcycled materials, rich layering, and intentional design. I thrive on giving forgotten pieces a second life, transforming them into unique elements that make a space truly one-of-a-kind. My goal is simple: to help clients—especially couples with different tastes—find a cohesive, beautiful design they both adore. I design with a love for tradition, music, and a deep appreciation for soulful living.

I am proud to run My Upcycle Home alongside my wife and partner, Rommy Santiago. With a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Florida International University, I bring a strong analytical mindset and structured financial strategy to our daily operations.

I truly enjoy working behind the scenes to ensure every project runs smoothly, supporting Rommy’s creative vision every step of the way. My focus is on optimizing client investments and ensuring professional execution, making it incredibly fulfilling to help transform spaces into meaningful homes—one project at a time.
