Hi, I’m Rommy – Interior Designer with Soul and Purpose

I’m a Colombian-born interior designer with a passion for creating spaces that tell stories. I believe every room should have heart, character, and a little magic—and that’s exactly what I bring to every project.

I studied Interior Design at the School of Interior Design (Esdiart) in Bogotá, Colombia, where I discovered my love for textures, color, and meaningful details.

My style is rooted in upcycled materials, rich layers, and intentional design. I love giving forgotten pieces a second life, transforming them into unique elements that make a space truly one-of-a-kind.

A little (okay, maybe a lot) OCD, I thrive on creating clean, organized environments that feel peaceful and inspiring. Plants are my go-to decorative companions—they bring harmony and life into every room.

As a mom of two amazing girls and wife to an incredible husband who also happens to be my business partner, I bring heart, balance, and a touch of humor to everything I do.

I love helping people create spaces that reflect who they truly are. One of my favorite challenges? Helping couples with different tastes find a design they both adore.

Whether I’m layering textures or adding that perfect pop of green, I design with intention, love for traditions, music, and a deep appreciation for soulful living.

I’m the Chief Financial Manager and co-founder of My Upcycle Home, LLC

A company I’m proud to run alongside my wife, Rommy Santiago. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Florida International University, and I bring a strong analytical mindset and financial strategy to our daily operations.

I truly enjoy working behind the scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly, supporting Rommy’s creative vision every step of the way. It’s incredibly fulfilling to help transform spaces into meaningful homes—one upcycled piece at a time.

I’m a Colombian creative with a background in marketing and a love for storytelling through design and digital media. At My Upcycle Home, I manage our website and social platforms—blending visual strategy, fresh ideas, and meaningful content to reflect who we are as a brand.
